Some patients will remember the beginnings of the surgery in Autumn 1991 with the extension and conversion of a traditional 1930's house to provide the basis of today's premises.
During the first winter, patients were seen in a Portakabin placed on the then original back garden, which is now the car park. The current reception was accessed through the old kitchen which is now the filing area.
Initially appointed to replace a locally retiring General Practitioner, Dr. Page saw the Practice develop quickly with the introduction of computers and Practice Nursing. In mid 1994 Dr Hobson joined the Practice as a second partner when the Practice absorbed another retiring GP's list. This allowed further extension of both staff and services such as mutidisciplinary clinics.
Dr Griffiths joined as a third partner early in 1997 to help the Practice meet the increasing workload. Whilst still a "young" practice we have many projects underway, both working within the local community and developing further services.
The building was reconverted and extended in early 1999.
The Practice is managed by the three partners, supported by a number of Practice staff and support staff which are provided by Rushcliffe Primary Care Trust. The surgery is not a limited partnership.
