 Dr. Nicholas Page
 BSc, MBBS, MRCGP, DCH, DRCOG, DMJ

Dr Page completed his undergraduate medical training at Guy's Hospital, London University also incorporating a degree in Psychology.

Having completed basic postgraduate training, he worked in Nottingham's Eye Unit for a year before joining the local Vocational Training Scheme for General Practice.

Initially working in the Meadows area, in 1991 Ludlow Hill Surgery was formed. This has progressively grown over the years to its present arrangement with Dr Page as the Senior Partner.

He has also been involved in a variety of other work over the years but particularly within the field of Forensic Medicine in Nottinghamshire up to 2003. Although currently not directly involved with the service, Dr Page continues to contribute to the academic aspects of this speciality.

Dr.Page is the lead partner on our Practices Diabetes services also.He also performs minor surgery where appropriate.

joanne hobsonDr Joanne Hobson
 MBBS,DRCOG,DPM

 

Dr Hobson grew up in Nottingham and trained in London at St Bartholomew's Hospital Medical College. She then completed her training for General Practice in Norfolk and Essex.

On returning to Nottingham, she spent 18 months as a Community Paediatrician and Family Planning doctor, before entering General Practice in inner city Nottingham in 1989.  She joined Ludlow Hill Surgery in 1994.

Since then , Dr Hobson has developed interests in all aspects of womens and childrens health, sexual health as well as media work.

In addition to Practice work, she is a member of various Child Protection Committees and works as a Clinical Assistant in Gynaecology at  Nottingham University Hospital.

Dr Jeremy GriffithsDr Jeremy Griffiths
 BMed.Sci(Hons), MBBS, DFFP

Dr Griffiths is originally from Stockport ,South Manchester. He graduated from the University of Nottingham in 1989 and then worked for 4 years in hospital medicine. Thereafter he worked in Neurology for 12 months and continues to have a particular interest in this specialty.

Dr Griffiths moved into General Practice in 1994 and joined Ludlow Hill Surgery in 1997.

As a full time partner, one of his roles in the Practice is as Clinical Governance lead. This means co-ordinating issues around improving the quality of our service to our patients. He also takes a leading role in the delivery of Heart Disease management.

Since 2000, Dr Griffiths has acted for the Rushcliffe Primary Care Trust as Primary Care Lead for the National Service Framework for Coronary Heart Disease (10 year government programme aimed at reducing deaths in the UK from heart disease).  He has also been very involved in the development of future care within the Rushcliffe community.

Since the 2001/2 season, he has been Doctor to the Nottingham Forest AFC Academy, and to the Senior squad.

Helen WalshDr. Helen Walsh
MBChB, MRCGP, DRCOG

 

Dr Walsh qualified in Sheffield in 1988,and after 3 years in hospital posts completed her GP training in Leicestershire.

After 2 years in a Practice there she moved to Hertfordshire where she combined part time work with family commitments.

Dr Walsh came to Ludlow Hill Surgery in August 1999 and currently works part-time.
