Patient information is confidential and we adhere to the Department of Health Caldicott guidelines on protecting confidential information.
All staff working within the NHS have a contractual responsibility to keep your information confidential. Our staff are aware of the importance of this.
Please be aware that we will not disclose any information relating to you to anyone else without your express written consent. Please do not be offended if this is ever pointed out to you as the receptionists are protecting your interests.
Patients wishing to speak about confidential matters away from the reception desk should tell the receptionist.
